Fitness to Take Part
It is important that you properly assess your own ability to take part in the activity before booking. The following definitions of the various courses offered will allow you to make an informed decision. If you have any doubt please use the Contact Form to ask any questions.
Beginners/ improvers: You may never have never sat in a kayak before or you have done up to four days kayaking in the past. You will be taught and guided through everything needed to have a safe and enjoyable trip with us.
Intermediate: You have done more than four days, sea or river kayaking in the past (not sit in tops!), used to spray decks and have a good concept of paddling strokes and techniques to control a kayak in various sea and weather conditions up to force 3.
Advanced: You are a regular sea or river kayaker who should be comfortable in sea conditions of force 4 and above, have a good concept of the various rescue practices used and comfortable on longer kayak journeys.
BEGINNERS COACHNG
Suitable for beginners and improvers. The sessions will be tailored to suit you.
ADVANCED COACHING
For advanced level paddlers only.
DAY TRIP
This experience is for improvers and intermediate paddlers.
EXPEDITION
Expeditions are long and often arduous and therefore are only suitable for intermediate and advanced paddlers. If in any doubt please contact us and we will advise on the expectations of the particular trip.
Payment
In order to secure your booking you will need to pay a non-refundable deposit. Once you have booked on the calendar your place is provisionally booked until payment is received. We will be in contact with you to ensure your place is secured.
